When will Scotland improve?

Today I will answer the question that all Scottish rugby fans want to know. When will the Scottish national team improve into a side that can challenge at world cups and win six nations. Scotland have never won a six nations and their last victory was in 1999 when they won the five nations. Since then Scotland have been battling it out with Italy to avoid the wooden spoon. Naturally the Scottish team and it's fans are not happy with this. We want to be a nation who is feared and is able to win trophies. I think now that Scotland will begin to improve under Vern Cotter. He is a coach with great reputation leading Clermont to become the European power they are now and he was head coach over Joe Schmidt at the time, who has gone on to win 2 heineken cups with Leinster and a six nations with Ireland. This shows what great credentials Cotter has. He has had an instant impact in the Scotland team leading them to the most promising Autumn internationals I can remember. With a good win over Argentina and driving an, although weakened All Black side we still pushed them very close. He brought in a new group of exciting youngsters who could be around for the next ten years. Over the Autumn series he cemented the places of: Finn Russel, Mark Bennet, Adam Ashe, Johnny Gray, Grant Gilchrist and Tommy Seymour. This is why I believe Vern Cotter can lead Scotland to new heights.
